Preoperative knowledge on kidney transplantation between ABO blood type incompatible relatives

Let us briefly review the indications and contraindications of kidney transplantation between ABO-incompatible relatives: it is suitable for patients with end-stage renal disease, and its indications and contraindications are basically similar to those of ABO-compatible kidney transplantation. It is especially suitable for patients with uremia who are difficult to find ABO-compatible kidney sources in the short term, have poor dialysis treatment effects, or have many complications and are life-threatening and cannot accept other renal replacement therapies.
